Oregon Country Fair, Veneta, Oregon

The circus is once again coming to the wonderfully amazing Oregon Country Fair!

 

Catch me for my first Spoken Word performances. Priyo will open with some georgeous Italian guitar, followed by stories, readings, Q & A, and my first ever circus poem to boot!

 

Friday: Front Porch Stage, 12:30 - 1:50

Saturday: The Rabbit Hole, 1:30 - 2:50.

 

And please visit me in booth #684, home of Gabbiano Leather, where I'll be signing and selling Love in the Elephant Tent while juggling leather belts, handmade journals and wallets. The booth is located along the river, just beyond Shady Grove Stage.

Thank you to everyone who attended this event and made it a magnificient success! Danuta, Jacquie and I appreciate you enthusiasm and support as we launch ourselves and our books on this wild and crazy publishing ride!

 

 

Books, readings, music, appetizers, drinks, and world-class Oregon Pinot Noir. Please join me on the evening of Saturday, April 25 at Pfeiffer Winery (DIRECTIONS), one of Willamette Valley's most beautiful wineries, complete with Tuscan villa, water gardens, and tasting cave.

In addition to the official launch of Love in the Elephant Tent, my esteemed colleagues and writing group members will join the fun with their fabulous books. Jacquie "Jax" Manning will be launching her cozy mystery, Caribbean Shadows, and Danuta Pfeiffer will read from her recently launched memoir, Chiseled.

Free event; no-host wine bar. There will, of course, be books for sale. More details TBA.

This is the storied home of the Men of the Long Tom Grange calendar, home of the Prarie Mountain Wineries alliance, and a great place to spend the weekend with friends and family.

Authors Evening at the Schoolhouse, Junction City, Oregon

Please join me for the first annual "Authors Evening at the Schoolhouse," featuring local poet Terah Van Dusen (Love, Blues, Balance and New Moon), local authors Danuta Pfeiffer (Chiseled, A Memoir of Identity, Duplicity, and Divine Wine), Jacquie "Jax" Manning (Caribbean Shadows) and Kathleen Cremonesi (Love in the Elephant Tent: How Running Away with the Circus Brought Me Home), and acoustic guitar by local musician Josh Pitney.

 

$10 entrance covers a lovely selection of desserts made with local  Camas Country grains, coffee and tea. Local Bennett Winery wines available for purchase by the glass. Proceeds go directly into the "school fund" to continue renovating this beautiful old schoolhouse into a community event center and home for the arts.
